EW.COM – Get ready for a true all-star, collaborative concert this fall. A+E Networks and iHeartMedia are putting on Shining a Light: A Concert for Progress on Race in America in Los Angeles.

The title and the lineup are works in progress, but confirmed names include: a mid-hiatus Dr. Ed Sheeran, Pharrell, John Legend, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Jamie Foxx, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Miguel, Pink, Sia, Rhiannon Giddens, Tori Kelly, and Jill Scott. And there are more names on the horizon in the gig that promises “a once-in-a-lifetime series of duets.”

The concert is the first program in A+E’s campaign concerning race issues in the country. The concerted effort was inspired by members of the Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston, S.C. recovering from June’s mass shooting that saw nine people killed.

After the concert, a new one-hour special Shining a Light: Conversations on Race in America will air that sees artists go into communities that have seen violence, such as Charleston, Baltimore, Chicago, and Ferguson, Mo., and lead discussions with different members of society.

“The current racial situation in America is at a critical point,” said executive producer Ken Ehrlich in a statement. “Today’s musical artists, much like those of the civil rights movement’s history, have strong feelings about what’s going on today, and we’re hopeful that Shining a Light does, in fact, give a voice to their concerns, their hopes, and their thinking about solutions to the alarming events that we see around us every day.”

The concert, which will help raise money for the Fund for Progress on Race in America powered by United Way Worldwide, will happen Nov. 18 in L.A. It will air Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on A&E, History, Lifetime, H2, LMN, and FYI TV stations, in addition to iHeartMedia radio stations and iHeartRadio digital platforms.

Tickets go on sale Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET at AXS.com and shrineauditorium.com.
